The most expected stop of Downmall Tour is always final round round in Prague. Its longest track there, biggest crowd, fastest riders and of course DOUBLE points! Shopping mall was exploding and atmosphere was amazing! In the final run it was Tomas Slavik who was the only guy to get under 40 seconds mark and he took a big win! Because of double points Slavik took also overall championship win even with missing first round in Germany! What a day!
“ Sometimes the mall racing can get a bit same and kind of stereotype racing, but when it comes to Prague its whole another different story. I was looking forward to race in front of my home crowd basically from the beginning of the Tour and racing in Czech Republic is just something I dont get very often in season. So Im really enjoying every second out there meeting my friends, family and fans. The track was really fast, physical and reeeally slippery. That was the facts which made the finals looking really wild, riders were doing mistakes, crashing and it was difficult to make a good run. Even I made a big mistake in first turn, but then rest of the track was just perfect and I was the only one out there to get under 40 seconds which made me really happy, because this guys are reaaaally fast! Cherry on top was that because of double points I took also the overall championship title even with missing the first round in Germany. Super happy about how all things went down and cant wait for another Downmall Tour. Thank you everyone for cheering and pushing us to the finish line! “
