Slavik taking 2nd place at Downmall in Germany
After dominating the biggest urban DH race in the world Red Bull Valparaiso Cerro Abajo one week ago Slavik travelled back to Europe to take part in 2nd round of Downmall Tour in Germany. Going from the big bike to a small hardtail bike Slavik was riding great whole day, but in the final after few mistakes ends on the 2nd place.
“ I was flying back home right after Red Bull Valparaiso Cerro Abajo to be part of 2nd round of Downmall Tour in Germany. Its always hard for me to go from big bike to a small bike. I was also riding a new prototype from GHOST bikes, which feels absolutely great and Im looking forward to spend some more time on this amazing hardtail, which will help me to push my performance this year a lot! Anyway, I was feeling great on the track whole day even though its absolutely different style of riding. In the final run I tried to step up the game, but did really big mistakes in first part of the track and it really affected my final time a lot. At the end took 2nd place and really looking forward to next round next week in Budapest (Hungary) where I will try to get myself back to the top spot…”
