Slavik back on TOP winning in France
Slavik was able to take a big win at one of the biggest Europeans urban downhill race called Urban DH in Grasse, at South France. After unlucky race in Mexico, where his bike arrived just few hours before the race and then unfortunately Slavik had technical issue its good to see him back on the 1st spot. Slavik made a new record of the track and was over 2 seconds quicker then rider on the 2nd place. Well done!
“Wow! Just took a first place at Urban DH in Grasse, France which one of the biggest european urban downhills. I have to say it was one hell of a challenge! Track was fast and wild, riders were pushing it big time and so I had to give it all I got! Left everything on the track and Im so stoked to take 1st place 2nd year in row! Its been 5 years when I started to race at Urban races. I jumped into it with full DH bike with weight over 18 kg, 200mm of suspension and I felt like its not enough. Now, 5 years later my bike is 13 kg, with one crown fork, 180/160mm suspension, super light components and looks more like my fourcross bike with just more suspension. Its crazy how technologies and our skills are moving on so as the limits of mountainbiking… Im loving this transformations! It was my first time I was racing on single crown fork RockShoc Lyrik 180mm which was matching great to my GHOST FR AMR. Thanks goes to organizers for doing such a great job, to all riders for amazing competition and to all French fans who were pushing us towards the finish line! Thank you France, Thank you Grasse! “
Now fasten your seatbelt and get ready for a ride with Tomas Slavik and his GoPro. POV of his winning run in France became a hit of the internet last days and the views numbers are saying it all.
