Slavik - after hard crash in Brazil already preparing for Chile!

Tomas Slavik riding for Ghost/Redbull/RSP had hard crash during saturdays qualification for first race of CITY DH WORLD TOUR in Santos, Brazil. In one of the fastest parts of the track his rear tire exploded. In more then 50km/h Slavik went down hard. Luckily he didnt suffer any major injuries and was able to walk away. Unfortunately because of this crash Slavik didnt qualify to the race, where he was suppose to fight for first spots with the fastest city DH specialists!

"It was one of the worst crashes I have ever had. Its like a nightmare for all riders to crash in these conditions - high speed, concrete, stairs, fences, walls. Probably the worst scenery you can imagine. After my tire exploded, my bike was completely out of control and I crashed hard. I was really lucky when I realized few seconds after the crash that Im allright and not injured. It was my first race in Santos, its real extreme in between City DH races, but for some reason I felt awesome on that track. Felt really fast, my bike and suspension felt great and I had a goal to go for TOP3. But my technical issue during quali just didnt allowed me to try it. Well, im bit dissapointed about my result, but thats what keeps me going and I really want to do good on next event in Chile. Hopefully bad luck is gone and I will the best I can..."
